Empowering Europe's public libraries to harness EU resources for enhanced adult education programs and strategies.

WHAT WE OFFER

Local events

RL:EU offers a series of local events in different local communities. These support local networking by having trainers and experts sharing the knowledge and skills required to apply for EU funding. The events are carried out in the local language.

One-on-one mentoring

Experts are available for in-person or online mentoring sessions, where libraries are supported in a one-on-one session dedicated to answering questions, debating any potential issues, and guiding the development of project proposals.

Group coaching

During the online group coaching sessions, participants can get to know the different EU programmes closely and network with other people and institutions interested in pursuing EU funding, thus enabling partnership matching and the provision of feedback.

Conference

The conference will take place on 10 April 2024, in a hybrid format: online and in-presence in Lisbon, Portugal. It will consist of the presentation of the results of the project and good practices discovered through project implementation, as well as a discussion on the future of Europe and European priorities, while fostering further opportunities for networking and capitalisation on the developed results.

Advocacy event

An advocacy event is also planned for 2024. It aims to present policy recommendations and is therefore targeted primarily at policymakers. Dates and venues to be announced.

ABOUT RL:EU

WORKING TOGETHER TO UNLOCK EU RESOURCES

The “Resourcing Libraries: connecting libraries to EU resources” (RL:EU) project aims to help Europe’s public libraries unlock EU resources to support their adult education programmes and strategies. This project brings together Public Libraries 2030, EBLIDA, and PiNA to develop an approach that helps public libraries and librarians learn about EU initiatives and programmes and access EU funding.

PARTNERS

Public Libraries 2030 (PL2030) is an international not-for-profit association driven by the vision of a world where public libraries are a dynamic and inclusive space accessible to all.

GOOD PRACTICES

OF EU FUNDED PROJECTS

Testimonials

“I believe that it is very important to be informed and to know more about European funding opportunities. It is equally relevant to know how to apply and where to find information about calls for applications. The RL:EU project has a very important role in this. ”

“The workshop conducted by EBLIDA in cooperation with PL2030 and PiNA on access to EU funds is certainly to be recommended to libraries and librarians in Croatia, especially since EU funds are not yet used to a sufficient extent. Since it is informative and useful for insight into the different programs that are available for application and use, the workshop guides and encourages participants to create ideas for applying to various programs from EU funds, which gives added value to the workshop. This kind of workshop can certainly have a good response in the Croatian librarian community.”
